🏃‍♂️ Pawtuxet River 5k: Run of the Mills!

Please join us Saturday, November 1, for a family-friendly 5k walk, run, roll, or stroll along the banks of the Pawtuxet River! Featuring 3 trestle bridges along the Coventry Greenway, a rail trail known as the Washington-Secondary bike path, enjoy views of the river, two majestic mills, and a jog through Anthony Historic District, on the National Register of Historic Places.

🍂 Race Experience

• Starting Line: Feel the crisp autumn air at the starting line by Rice Memorial Field.
• Scenic Views: Take in beautiful foliage as the morning fog slowly rises off the still water of the pond before the water rushes over the dams at Laurel Ave and Clariant Falls.
• Location: Celebrate the Pawtuxet River with us, just minutes from Route 95, in the historic village of Anthony.

🌊 Supporting a Cause

All proceeds benefit the Pawtuxet River Authority and Watershed Council, which has been protecting, conserving, and restoring the Pawtuxet River and its watershed for over 50 years! We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization serving Cranston, Coventry, Scituate, Warwick, and West Warwick where the mainstem, south, and north branches of the Pawtuxet River flows.

• Mission: Our mission is to enhance water quality and wildlife habitats.
• Recreation: Create opportunities for public passive recreation.
• Promotion: Promote the environmental, cultural, and historic significance of the Pawtuxet River and its watershed.

🕖 Event Details

• Bib Pick Up: Bib pick up will take place at Rice Field from 7am to 7:45am.
• Race Start: The race will start promptly at 8am on Knotty Oak Rd., adjacent to Rice Field, in Coventry, RI.
