🏃♂️ Event Overview
- Purpose: Run for fun, run to challenge yourself, or run in honor of a veteran. This fun race is hosted by Plainfield Recreation to honor and support our military troops and veterans.
- Beneficiaries: Proceeds from this event will be donated to the local VFW, American Legion, and Veteran's Coffeehouse.
📅 Event Schedule
- National Anthem: Begins at 9:15am
- Fun Run Start: 9:30am
- 5K & Soldier Stroll Start: 10:30am, with walkers starting behind runners
📍 Race Route
- Starting Point: Begins and ends at Plainfield High School
- Route Highlights: Moves through the athletic fields, Shepard Hill Elementary, and a small neighborhood
- Accessibility: Both races are intended for all abilities and skill levels
