- Duration: Sundays, April 27 - June 1, 2025*
- Location: Duke Park, Durham
- Age Group: Kids aged 4-12 years!
🏃♂️ Program Overview
- Structure: A 5-week, fun-focused running program.
- Format: Introduces kids to running with a loosely structured “track meet.”
- Distances: Explore distances ranging from 100 meters to 1 mile.
- Perks: Participants will receive a personalized race bib, finishing time each week, and a custom Kids Run Durham tee!
👥 Session Features
- Warm-Up: Each session features a group dynamic warm up.
- Expert Guests: Local experts teach kids tips and techniques for building healthy, active habits.
- Topics: Guest speakers address health, wellness, and running topics such as physical activity, nutrition, sportsmanship, and proper running form.
- Schedule Note: We will not meet on Sunday May 25 (Memorial Day Weekend).
🕒 Session Times
- Availability: We offer a 3 PM and 4 PM session.
- Selection: You can select your preferred time when you register!
