1. Packet pick-up on THURSDAY, November 7th & FRIDAY, November 8th, after school and on RACE DAY.
2. Virtual participants: Select the RESULTS menu (on the left) to submit your results. Then, look for POST VIRTUAL RESULTS and click SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS. Search by name or email, then click SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS again. You can either enter your time or just click that you finished. Done!
The JP5K & Fun Run is a fundraising event that supports the Special Services Department at Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School. Everyone is welcome! All students, family, and friends are invited to participate in the JP5K. The cost of the race is $30 for early bird (ending October 15th) or $35 per person after October 15th, multi-person discounts available on the sign-up page.

The Special Services Department includes the Options Program, the Laudare Program and the Academic Support Program.
Options Program: The Options Program provides individualized, inclusive special education for students with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.
Laudare Program: The Laudare program provides specialized support to students with a documented learning disabilities.
Academic Support Program: The Academic Support Program is for students who, with support, can succeed with the competitive college-prep curriculum at Saint John Paul the Great.

FUNDRAISER: Become an individual fundraiser, or donate. The top three individual fundraisers earn prizes including: Chick Fil A Lovers Gift Basket, Gift Certificate for a free pair of running shoes, and JP swag. All can participate regardless of your relation to John Paul. (See flyer below)
STUDENT HOUSE PARTICIPATION CHALLENGE: The House with the largest number of participants will earn a DRESS DOWN DAY! The House with the second largest number of participants will earn a SPIRIT SHIRT DAY!
T-SHIRTS: The registration fee includes a white short-sleeve cotton t-shirt. There’s an option to select a red long-sleeve moisture-wicking t-shirt for an additional $10. Registrations received after Tuesday, October 15th, are not guaranteed a T-shirt by race day. (We will make every effort to project demand and size requirements for registrations after October 15th.) Registration remains open through race day, Saturday, November 9, 2024.
RACE DETAILS: Race packets will be available for pick-up at JP on Thursday, November 7th, and Friday, November 8th from 2:00pm-4:00pm in front of the school by the library entrance. Race packets will also be available for pick up on Race Day. Participants who are located outside of the local area may request to have their race packets mailed to them, by submitting an email to jp5k@jpthegreat.org with your name and mailing address. We will make ever effort to get your package to you by race day, but mailed packages are not guaranteed by race day as we have to rely on the USPS.
RACE DAY: Registration Opens at 7:30 am on Race Day for same-day registrations and packet pick-up. (Registration on Race Day is not required if you’ve registered online and already picked up your Race Packet.)
PANCAKE BREAKFAST: Immediately following the 5K, please plan to stop by the Pancake Breakfast hosted by the National Honor Society. Donations will be accepted, and all proceeds will go to support the Special Services.
VOLUNTEERS: Volunteers are needed on Race Day and days prior to race day. Sign up at Volunteer Sign Up
RAFFLE: Buy tickets for the raffle for $5 for 1 ticket or $20 for 5 tickets. So many prizes that we keep adding them every day!
