Burke Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department (BVFRD) invites you to run the fourth annual Fire Drill 5K/1M on Saturday, April 26 at Burke Lake Park at 8:00 am.
🚒 About BVFRD
- Mission: BVFRD provides lifesaving fire suppression and emergency medical response services for the citizens of Burke, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Springfield, and Annandale.
- Community Role: Our station is one of 38 that serve to protect Fairfax County.
- Funding: Funds raised through the Fire Drill 5K will help support our station for equipment and training.

💰 Registration Fees
- 5K: $30 through January 13
- 5K Late Registration: $40 January 14 through April 24 at 8:00 pm when online registration closes
- 5K Race Day: $45 during packet pick-up and on Race day
- 1 Mile: $20 through January 13, $30 from January 14 to April 24, $35 during packet pick-up and on Race day

Online registration will close on Thursday, April 24 at 8:00 pm.
📦 Packet Pick-Up
- Location: =PR= Burke Store (5715 Burke Centre Parkway, Burke, VA 22015)
- Date & Time: Friday, April 25 from 12-8pm
- Race Day Pick-Up: At Burke Lake Park starting at 7:00 am.
🎽 Participant Perks
All Race Participants will receive a commemorative race shirt and finisher medal. Be sure to register by Friday, April 4 to be guaranteed a shirt and medal. After that, shirts and medals will be first come first served as availability allows.
🏆 Awards
Awards will be given to the overall top 3 male and female finishers as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups: 15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over.
