Run for 9-1-1

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

“Run for 9-1-1” is an annual charity 5K run (or walk) to benefit #ThankYou911, an initiative of NENA, the National Emergency Number Association.

#ThankYou911 encourages public support and recognition of 9-1-1 professionals, the unsung heroes of public safety, by generating essential funds to provide scholarships, continuing education opportunities, and wellness programs for 9-1-1 professionals across the United States.

This is an afternoon event. Race location is at Shingle Creek Park.

• Transportation: For those attending the conference, transportation from Gaylord Palms to race site will be provided.

🚌 Transportation Information

Transportation to the race location for NENA Conference attendees is provided. A shuttle will pick participants up from the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center.

• Loading Time: 5:30 p.m.
• Departure Time: 5:45 p.m.

🗓️ Race Day Schedule

• Packet Pick-up: 6:00 p.m.
• Race Start: 7:00 p.m. for both the 5K & 10K

• Thursday: June 27, 2 p.m. - 6 p.m., Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center - Lobby
• Friday: June 28, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m., Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center - Lobby
• Friday: June 28, 6 p.m. - 6:45 p.m., Shingle Creek Park

💲 Pricing

• Early Bird: $25 for both 5K / 10K
• General Registration: $30
• Thursday & Race Day Friday: $40

👥 Bulk Team Pricing

Create a team and signup 4+ participants and each team member gets a $5 refund. Teams can be created HERE.

⏱️ Chip Timing

All participants will be chip-timed.

🏅 Awards

Commemorative t-shirt and medal will be provided as well as grand prizes for the top 3 males and females of the 5K and 10K. Best Team T-Shirt/Costume Prize. Registrations after 6/21 cannot be guaranteed a shirt and/or finisher medal.

Categories: 12 & Under: 13-19: 20-29: 30-39: 40-49: 50-59: 60-69: 70+

🥇 Finisher Medal

Participants of the 5K and 10K will receive finisher medals.
