Our 5k run is known as 'the WORLD'S EASIEST 5k', meaning you have to finish in the middle to win!

• Awards Categories:
  • Average Joe & Average Jane: Male and female middle finishers will receive an exclusive Average Joe Run Champion Jersey.
  • Overall Winners: Awards are handed out to the top 3 finishers for male and female.
  • Age Group Winners: Awards are given to the top 2 and Average Joe & Average Jane finishers of their age group.

• Participant Guidelines: We ask runners to start at the front and walkers towards the middle/back for safety.
• Dog Policy: We love dogs, but they are not permitted at the AJR 5k events for the safety of our participants.

• Strollers: Permitted at our events.
• Food: DONUTS, DONUTS, and more DONUTS are available for your enjoyment throughout the event.
• Water Station: A water station will be provided at the mid-point of the 5k course.
• Refreshments: Coffee and water are available during the event.

  • 6:30am - Race Registration and Packet Pickup
  • 7:00am - Music and entertainment begin
  • 7:10am - Warm up hosted by fitness instructor
  • 7:25am - Announcements and National Anthem
  • 7:30am - Average Joe Run 5k Start
