🏃♂️ 2024 Unity Run 31 Groovy 5K
The United Way Annual Unity Run 5K Fundraiser has been raising money for United Way of Gordon County since 1993. Funds from the Unity Run support Local Community Partners in the fields of Education, Basic Needs, and Health.
The Unity Run is a family-friendly event that starts and ends at the Historic Calhoun Depot. The certified race route is a mostly flat area, passing through the Calhoun Recreation Department and back.
Participants are encouraged to embrace the annual theme, with prizes for the best-dressed male and female participants. Vendors offer free giveaways at the finish line, and food trucks will enhance the post-race atmosphere with refreshments and family fun. United Way Agencies will provide kid games and share information about their work.
📅 Event Details and Schedule
Participants can pick up their race bibs and shirts at the Calhoun Depot starting on Monday, September 23. Corporate Sponsors will receive bibs and shirts by Friday, September 20.
In-Person Registration and Pick-up Schedule: September 23-24 (10AM to 6PM)
Online Registration Closes on September 22.
The Unity Run starts at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. The Kid's Race begins at 4:30 at the Calhoun High School Practice Track.
