- Longest Race: The Red Flannel Run is the longest, consecutively-produced race in the Des Moines area.
- Options: Choose from a one mile, 5K, and 10K option.
- Dress Code: Wear your favorite red flannel attire.
- Mission: Help support the YMCA’s mission to strengthen the foundations of community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

- Date: February 15, 2024 at Fleet Feet (time is 4:30-6:30pm). Address: 521 E Locust St, Des Moines, IA 50309
- Date: February 16, 2024 at the Wellmark YMCA (time is 4:30-6:30pm). Address: 501 Grand Ave, Des Moines, IA 50309
- Date: February 17, 2024 at the Wellmark YMCA (Beginning at 7:30am). Address: 501 Grand Ave, Des Moines, IA 50309
🅿️ Race Day Parking
- Parking Garage: Available at the parking garage on Locust Street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue. Access is via 7th Street South to Locust Street. Entrance is on the North/Left side of the street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue.
- Additional Parking: Available at the parking garage on 5th street between Grand Avenue and Watson Powell Jr Way. Access by going East on Locust Street to 4th Street, then North/Left on 4th street to Grand Avenue, then West/Left on Grand Avenue to 5th Avenue. Enter the parking garage on the North/Right side of 5th Avenue.
