🏃‍♀️ Mighty MoJo Memorial Run

Join us for the 4th Annual Mighty MoJo Memorial Run, in honor of our Molly Joan who fought fiercely for 44 days against Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) at CHOP before passing away in September 2021. Our hope is to increase awareness of CDH, a condition as common as cystic fibrosis and spina bifida, and raise much needed funding to help make CDH a more manageable diagnosis for the future MoJos of the world. We've raised over $80,000 the last three years, and cannot wait for another successful event.

We are excited to offer sponsors and other supporters a fun-filled morning at beautiful Ridley Creek State Park. All net proceeds will go to CHOP’s CDH Research Fund, which is continuously coming up with innovative ways to help CDH babies have a better outcome and quality of life.

Date: Saturday, April 12, 2025
Location: Ridley Creek State Park - Pavilions 11a & 11b, Media, PA
4.4 Mile Run: Starts at 10 am, follows a loop along the trail, professionally timed.
1 Mile Walk: Begins at approximately 10:05 am, out and back course, suitable for all.

🌦️ Weather Policy

This event is held RAIN OR SHINE. Remember, there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing. Plan accordingly :-)

💰 Pricing

4.4 Mile Run: $25.44 early bird (Through 1/31/25): $30.44 (2/1/25 - 3/12/25): $35.44 (3/13/25 - 4/11/25): $40 day of race (4/12/25).
1 Mile Walk: $15 early bird (Through 1/31/25): $20 (2/1 - 4/11/25): $25 day of race (4/12/25).
Team Discount: $5 discount for all members when signing up as a team! Available to runners and walkers.
Packet Pickup: Wednesday, April 9 - 6 to 8 pm at Burke’s Inn in Havertown: Saturday, April 12 - 8:30 am till run/walk start time.

Awards

Prizes for the 4.4 mile run will be awarded to the top 3 overall winners and 1st place winners in each age group:

🎽 Amenities

Race registration includes a t-shirt and post-race refreshments with the potential for more to be announced. Shirts are only guaranteed up through March 14, 2025. Beyond then, it will be a first-come, first-serve basis.

🎉 Post-Race Festivities

There will be live music and family friendly activities for the little ones. Pack a lunch and bring the family to hang out afterwards – there is plenty of room to spread out.

💖 Donations

DONATIONS are welcome! With your $150 donation you will be recognized as a "Family Sponsor." Your donation includes encouragement signage along the race course as well as inclusion in the race day sponsor slideshow, if desired.
