SLA AnyWay 5k 2022

🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the SLA AnyWay 5k!

Welcome to the second annual SLA AnyWay 5k! Started as a virtual race in 2021 by SLA alumni Ethan Chen, the AnyWay 5k was a way to help spread his passion for running with the SLA community. We are continuing his legacy by holding an in person 5k in addition to the virtual event!

🤝 Join Us!

No matter if you are part of or outside of the SLA community, everyone is welcome to join in on our race. All registrations, donations, and profits made from this race will directly be given to SLA Home and School to support the SLA community and this race. We would like to thank Braskem for sponsoring this event and making this all possible!

📱 Virtual Race Tracking

You can use any kind of tracking device for the virtual race. Apps like Strava and Runkeeper work well.

👕 Shirt Information

• Deadline: April 1st for ordering shirts.
• Pickup Dates: Tuesday April 19th and Friday April 22nd, 3:15 - 4:30 pm, at 1482 Green St. (SLA@CC).

📅 Event Details

This year's race will consist of an in person event and a virtual event. The SLA Anyway 5k virtual race can take place anywhere and any time from April 17th-April 23rd. It is up to you as the participants to choose a time, a route, and methods to accumulate a distance of 5 kilometers (3.1 miles). You can do it all in one go or break it up over the week. The in-person event will take place on April 23rd along the Schuylkill river trail. Arrive at 10:00 AM for check in, with the goal to start the race between 10:30 and 10:45 AM.

🏃 Group Runs

10:30 AM group runs/practices at 1 Boathouse Row (Lloyd Hall). Sunday 4/3, 4/10, and 4/17.
