28th Annual Gloucester TWP Scholarship Run-2025

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Gloucester Township Day Scholarship Committee invites you to run with us in the 28th Annual Gloucester Township Scholarship 5K Run and One Mile Walk on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Proceeds from the event fund college scholarships for high school students residing in Gloucester Township.

🕗 Schedule

• One Mile Walk/Run: Begins at 8:30 am.
• 5K Run/Walk: Begins at 9:00 am.
• Check-in: Starts at 8:00 am.
• Race shirts: Guaranteed for the first 100 registered participants.

💲 Registration Fees

• 5K Run/Walk: $25
• One Mile Walk: $10
• Late Registration: Race Day 5K Run/Walk - $30

📍 Race Location

• Venue: Gloucester Township Municipal Complex – 1261 Chews Landing Road, Gloucester Township, NJ
• Course Description: 5K Course starts approximately 200 yards from the Senior Center on Chews Landing Road and loops through Police patrolled streets ending in the Municipal Complex parking lot.
• One Mile Walk: Two loops around the Veteran’s Park track, with two small loops within the two loops.
• Race day registration: Available from 8:00 am to 8:45 am.

👕 Race Shirt

• Guarantee: Race shirts are guaranteed for the first 100 registered participants.
• Pickup: You can pick up your bib and race shirt on race day, starting at 8:00 am, in the Senior Center At The Gloucester Township Municipal Complex.

⌚ Timing and Results

• Timing Company: Linmark Sports, a ChronoTrack authorized timing company.
• Results: Posted immediately as participants cross the finish line and available online later that day.

• Categories: First Male Overall, First Female Overall, First Gloucester Twp. Resident Finisher, First Parent & Child Duo Finishers.
• Age Groups: Top 3 Males & Females for ages 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

👶 Child and Stroller Friendly

• Stroller Guidance: Those pushing strollers are asked to start in the back.

📜 Policies

• Refund Policy: Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. This is a rain or shine event.
• Food: We have a bountiful-race spread for our runners and walkers.
• Restroom Facilities: We have indoor facilities! No need to worry about smelly portable restrooms.
