🏃♂️ Join the Race
- Event: Seventh annual 5K/1K run/walk along the picturesque Brandywine River through Hagley Museum's 235 acres.
- Purpose: Proceeds support Hagley’s field trip fund for area schools.
- Impact: Previous events raised enough money for over 2100 students to visit Hagley.
- Theme: In 2025, join us in "Chasing the Sun" and inspire young achievers to pursue their goals.
⏰ Event Schedule
- 5K Start: 8:30 AM
- 1K Fun Run: 9:00 AM
- Age Requirement: None for either event.
- Encouragement: Corporate and community teams are welcome.
🎟️ Bib Pick-up and Check-in
- Date: Day of event on April 26, 2025
- Time: Starting at 7:30 AM
- Location: In front of the Hagley Library
👥 Refer a Friend
- Unique URL: Receive after registering to share with family and friends.
- Social Media: Post to encourage registrations.
- Rewards: After five friends register, receive discounts: $10 off 5K or $5 off 1K.
🏆 Age Groups and Awards
- Overall Male/Female: Awards for top finishers.
- Age Groups: Top 3 Male/Female in each age group.
- Age Groups Include: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.
- Awards Ceremony: Around 9:30 AM near the finish line.
🏛️ Explore Hagley
- Opening Time: Hagley Museum opens at 10 AM.
- Experience: Explore historic powder yards, du Pont family home, and gardens.
- Admission: Registration fee includes free access to Hagley for the week following the event (through May 3, 2025).
