💖 Purpose of the Event
- Promote Wellness: The profession of nursing is often one that is self-less, however, research tells us that when we take care of ourselves, we are better able to care for others.
- Foster Comradery: The idea for the 5K came about from the desire to promote wellness, comradery and joy amongst the Caregivers of ChristianaCare.
- Encourage Teamwork: In the spirit of Relationship Based Care, to make a commitment to our patients, our colleagues and ourselves.
- Inspire Healthy Lifestyles: Our hope is to inspire healthy lifestyles, work life balance and teamwork at a fun and exciting event for ChristianaCare caregivers and their families and friends.

- Run or Walk: Whether you choose to run or walk, we are hopeful to make this year's Nurses Week 5K one of our best yet.
- Registration: This year's event is free: however, we encourage donations.
