The BEST Phoenixville running event (with the BEST medals) during the BEST local holiday in all of America, is BACK and EVEN MORE BLOBTACULAR THAN EVER!

🎨 Course Decoration Contest!

Not a runner? Get a group of friends together to participate in our course decoration contest and you could win gift cards to our local Phoenixville restaurants. Here's how it works:

• Participation: Your group will be given an area on the 5K course to decorate in some Blob (or other monster/alien) theme.
• Rule: Do not obstruct or startle our runners.
• Voting: After the race, runners will vote for the best scenes.
• Prize: Winners will receive gift cards!

🅿️ Parking Information

• Location: The starting area is under the Gay Street Bridge in Phoenixville, PA (200 Mill Street).
• Free Parking: Available at Phoenixville High School. 1000 Purple Pride Parkway.
• Shuttle: A free shuttle bus will run from 6:30 am to 11:30 am.
• Parking Suggestion: 5K and 10K runners are encouraged to park at the high school.

⏰ Starting Times

Half marathon: 7 am / 10K: 8 am / 5K: 8:05 am / Kids' Run 8:10 am

📋 Packet Pickup

There are 2 options for packet pickup this year:

• Saturday 7/12: 11 am to 5 pm at the RUNegades table at the Blobfest Street Fair on Bridge Street.
• Race Day 7/13: Starting at 6 am near the start/finish area under the Gay Street Bridge.

💧 Water Stops

Half Marathon: miles 1.3, 3, 4.3, 6.8, 7.6, 9.3, and 11.7

5K: at the top of Cromby Hill (Mile 1.4)

10K: miles 1.4, 2, 4, and 5 (These stops will be roughly miles 4 and 5 on the way back of the 10K).

🕰️ Course Cut-off and Flexible Options

Due to the July heat, the half marathon cut-off time will be a strict 3:30. Walkers are encouraged to participate in the 5K or 10K.

Flexible Options: If you register for the half marathon but the day comes and it is very hot (or for any reason), you can drop down to the 10K or 5K. Just tell our timer at the starting line.

🏆 Awards

5K, 10K, and Half marathon awards: The top 3 M/F overall and the top 3 M/F in each of the following age groups will be recognized: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

But that’s not all!! We’ll have special rewards for best dressed, best course decorations, and most Blobbiest team!

A portion of your registration fees and 100% of all donations will go to The Historic Colonial Theatre, the site of The Blob's most famous scene!
