🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

WE ARE BACK!!! Come join the Gainesville High School community as we kick off our 2nd Annual Cardinal 5K Run/Walk sponsored by the Gainesville High School PTSO. The PTSO at Gainesville strives to strengthen, enhance, and encourage the educational and social environment of the Cardinal community by volunteering in the classroom, assist with funding school projects, and organizing student and staff events to boost morale and support school and family socialization. If you cannot attend but wish to still support the Gainesville PTSO, consider our race sponsorship opportunities.

📅 Event Details

• Date: Saturday, May 17, 2025
• Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Warm up will begin at 8:45 AM.
• Location: Gainesville High School. Event starts at the football field.
• Timing: Provided by 5Runners Racing.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Who Can Participate

• Eligibility: All ages welcome.
• Strollers: Strollers are welcome.
• Pets: Please no dogs.
• Support: Money raised from the event will go directly to Gainesville High School PTSO for future student and teacher incentives.

💲 Registration Costs

• 18 and under: $20.00
• Early Bird Registration: January 1 to January 31 - $35.00
• General Registration: February 1 to May 16 - $40.00
• Day of Event: May 17 - $50.00

📦 Packet Pickup

Race bib and packet pickup will be on Race day starting at 8:00 AM.

🏅 Awards Ceremony

• T-Shirts: All those registered by May 3rd will be guaranteed a T-Shirt.
• Finishers Medals: The first 150 finishers will receive a customized Cardinal Finisher Medal.
• Awards Presentation: Award ceremony will begin directly following the conclusion of the 5K Run/Walk.
• Categories: Race Overall male/female and overall in categories Youth, Adult, and Senior will be awarded.
