Father's Day 5K (Walk, Bike, or Run)

🏃‍♂️ Race Description

The Father's Day 5K takes place on a scenic course during the beginning of summer, here in the Pacific Northwest. It starts on the East Puyallup Foothills Trailhead, near the parking area, and goes through the cool paved foothills trail 1.7 miles and returns to the start point. There is one road crossing, and one fun trail rail crossing on the route that rarely sees a very slow train. The event also includes pre/post-race music to keep participants motivated to finish. This is not a competitive race and may not be officially timed. The goal is to get families out for some fun/exercise. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to promote Men's Health Awareness. So this Father's Day plan to come out and join us. Bring family, friends, and a great attitude. We look forward to seeing you! Hurry and sign up for your spot!

• Race Day: June 15, 2025 Packet Pick up. 9:00-9:45 AM
• Remarks and Instructions: 9:45
• Race Begins: 10:00 AM Order of Line up (Runners first, Bikers, Walkers)
• Course: Proceed out 1.7 miles to turn around point then return on same route back to start

🚗 Parking Information

• Parking Availability: Parking is available in lot by start.
• Additional Parking: Available at VanLierop Parking, and next to trail across from Farm 12.

🌤️ Weather Preparedness

• Dress Appropriately: Dress for the day's weather: if hot, use sunscreen, wear shades.
• Restroom Facilities: There is a single restroom at the trailhead, however, Safeway is less than a 1/2 mile away.

📏 Race Distance

• 5K Distance: This is a 5k, which is 3.2 miles total. 1.7 miles out, and 1.7 miles back to the start.
• Enjoyment: Enjoy!
