I know first hand what it feels like to carry a heavy load. My experience as a combat vet and personally being diagnosed with mental injuries like PTSD. My own suffering blossomed into a desire to help others manage their suffering with PTSD and trauma by getting outdoors and RUCKing. Together we can save lives, inspire others to keep on RUCKin, and leave this planet better than we found it.
Rucking is a new take on an old form of exercise. It involves walking or hiking with a weighted backpack or weighted vest. Why is rucking good for you? One, mental toughness, my personal favorite. When you master your mind you can live in your desired reality. Rucking gives you the opportunity to challenge yourself and push through the discomfort, resulting in a stronger mind. Your body will build strength and endurance as well. Come out, train with military veterans and empowered individuals from all walks of life, strengthen your body, and ground your mind in nature.
