This year’s Ava Laurenne Bride 5K is on Sunday, May 4th, at Old Mill Park! The race kicks off at 9:00 AM EST, so set your hyperdrives accordingly!
👑 Theme and Excitement
Since we love all things princess at Ava Laurenne Bride (and we’re on Princess Anne Street!), we’re embracing the ultimate intergalactic princess theme with the Princess Leia 5K-ia!
- Fun Course: Expect out-of-this-world fun along the course, with hilarious signs, epic photo ops, and, of course, cinnamon buns for breakfast—because what better way to celebrate than with a treat inspired by Leia’s iconic hairstyle?
- Community Spirit: Whether you’re running, walking, or just showing up for the laughs, this event is all about community, fun, and a little bit of galactic magic.
- Dress Up: So grab your best space princess attire, lace up those running shoes, and get ready for an unforgettable morning.
- Support Local: $5 from every padawan (12-5yrs) and Obiwon Kenobi (50-up) will be given to support our local Rappahannock community YMCAs!
