Brookline Bolt 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us for the Brookline PTOs 9th Annual Brookline Bolt 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, May 18, 2025! We will again be holding this year’s run/walk at beautiful Camp Tevya, located next to Lake Potanipo.

🏞️ Course Details

• Course Type: The 5K course is out and back on the picturesque Brookline Conservation trails.
• Terrain: While the terrain is mostly flat, it might be difficult to navigate with a stroller (jogging strollers handle the course just fine).
• Participants: Walkers and runners are all welcome!

👕 Registration and Shirts

• Fundraising: Traditionally, this race has been a major fundraiser for the Brookline PTO.
• Sponsorship: The PTO is graciously supported by many local businesses, and once again we will bring back race day shirts to highlight our sponsors!
• Shirt Availability: Each 5K registration includes a race day shirt with Early Bird registration! Limited shirts will be available for purchase via Advanced registration and the day of the event.
• Purchase Options: Shirts will be sold for $20. Cash, check, or credit card will be accepted.

👶 Kids Fun Run

• Free Participation: The Fun Run is free for all kids, regardless if participating in the 5K Run/Walk or not.
• Start Time: The Fun Run will begin at 9:30 am sharp, immediately followed by the 5K at 10:00 am.
• Shirt Option: Fun Run registrants have an option to purchase a shirt at sign-up for $20 (fee waived if also registering for the 5K).
• Awards: Make sure to collect your Fun Run award at the end of the Fun Run race!

💰 Pricing Information

5K pricing for this year is as follows:

• Ages 4 and under: Free!
• Ages 5-12: $20 through 4/15, or $25 from 4/16 through 5/16.
• Ages 13+: $30 through 4/15, or $35 from 4/16 through 5/16.
• Same-Day Registrations: Limited amount available for $30 (ages 5-12) or $40 (ages 13+).

🎁 Food Donation Raffle

Donate to the food pantry on race day to enter to win a Nintendo Switch! On race day, each 5K race participant will receive one free raffle ticket with donation of one or more unexpired items for the Brookline Food Pantry. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase.

📅 Important Details

• Race Day Bibs: Bibs can be picked up the morning of the race.
