🏃♀️ Event Overview
Please join us on Sunday April 27, 2025 to support NM Cares. We are having our annual 5K/10K Walk Run at Pearl Hill State Park to raise funds to keep supporting the NM Cares Drop-In Center located in Townsend.
🌟 About NM Cares
- Established: We opened our doors in January 2021.
- Community Support: We continue to help local members of our community with regards to Domestic Violence, Drug Addiction, Addiction Recovery and hosting weekly Narcotics Anonymous Meetings.
- Adapting: We at NM Cares continue to change and adapt to the needs of the community.
- Partnerships: We partner with local organizations to provide the much needed services.
🍔 Food Options
- Food Trucks: We will have 2 food trucks available on race day: The Twisted Pickle and Tacos Y Burritos Panchita.
- Picnic: You are also welcome to bring your own food as well, and can even have a picnic as many picnic tables are available.
🐾 Important Notes
- Pets Policy: While we love pets, for safety reasons we ask that you do not bring your pet to the race as we will have many children present, and sometimes pets and loud playful children can cause pets to become anxious.
