Viking Relays & Races

🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the Annual Viking Relays & Races!

This event will take place at South Mastick park in the Rocky River Reservation.

The Viking Relays & Races are composed of the following events:

• 4 Hour Run
• 4 Hour Relay
• 2 Hour Run
• 4 Mile Relay
• 4 Mile Run

📍 Location:

South Mastick

Cottonwood Picnic Pavilion

Valley Parkway, Cleveland Metroparks,

Cleveland, OH 44126

Dogs and Strollers are not allowed on the course.

⏰ Schedule & Start Times:

• Registration and Packet Pickup: 6:30am
• 4 Hour Run/Relay & 2 Hour Run Start: 7:00am
• 4 Mile Run/Relay Start: 9:30am
• Awards: 11:00am

📏 Distances:

• 2x2 Mile Relay: Runners will complete 1 loop on the 2 mile loop course
• 4 Mile Run: Runners will complete 2 loops on the 2 mile loop course
• 4 Hour Run/Relay & 2 Hour Run: Runners will complete 2 loops during the allocated times. Runners are allowed to complete as many laps as they can during the allocated times. All runners can choose to finish earlier than the allocated and by doing so, will no longer be able to complete more laps.

🕒 Timing Method/Bibs:

All events will be chipped time. For the non-relay events, timing chips will be attached to the back of the race bibs. For relay events, timing chips are located inside the race batons. All batons must be returned at the completion of the race.

All registered participants will receive a bib number and timing tag that must be worn on race day. Please do not alter the bib in any way.

The bib must be visible and worn on the front, outermost article of clothing the entire race. BibTag Timing chips will be adhered to the back of your bib.

Bib numbers and tags are non-transferable and must be worn by the registrant to whom they have been assigned.

4 Mile Relay

• Early Bird: $35 per person (Until Oct 1)
• Standard: $40 per person
• Kids pricing (12 and under): $25 – Early Bird (Until Oct 1)
• Kids pricing (12 and under): $30

4 Mile Run

• Early Bird: $35 per person (Until Oct 1)
• Standard: $40 per person
• Kids pricing (12 and under): $25 – Early Bird (Until Oct 1)
• Kids pricing (12 and under): $30

2 Hour Run

• Early Bird: $60 per person (Until Oct 1)
• Standard: $70 per person

4 Hour Run

• Early Bird: $80 per person (Until Oct 1)
• Standard: $90 per person

4 Hour Relay

• Early Bird: $60 per person (Until Oct 1)
• Standard: $70 per person

2 Hour Run

• Top M/F Overall: in each Age Group (Most Laps) – 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

4 Hour Run

• Top M/F Overall: in each Age Group (Most Laps) – 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

4 Hour Relay

• Top 3 Overall: Male/Female/Coed Teams (Most Laps)
