10th Annual Walk|Run for Kids 2025

🎉 Welcome to the 10th Annual Walk|Run for Kids 2025

Join us on May 31, 2025, at Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino, Sunland Park, NM for a wonderful cause!

❤️ Purpose of the Event

• Beneficiary: Proceeds from this event benefit seriously ill children and their families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of El Paso while their child receives medical care at an area hospital in El Paso or Las Cruces.
• Program Impact: Our champion programs improve the health, education, and well-being of children and their families.

📝 Registration Information

• Options: You can register as an individual, start your own team, or join an existing team.
• Team Members: Add Team Members at any time!
• Day of Event Registration: Will be at 6:30 am at Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino.

🏆 Team Challenge

Last year, the team from Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare "We Show Up!" won the TROPHY for the Largest Team Challenge. They recruited 96 members!! Will they have to pass the trophy down to a new team winner for 2025? Will it be you and your team?

👕 T-Shirt & Swag Bag Pick Up Info

Swag Bags can be picked up at Ronald McDonald House starting Thursday, May 29th through Friday, May 30th from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.

• Team bags: Can be picked up by one individual.
• Large Packet Pick-Up: If you are picking up five or more packets, please call ahead at (915) 542-1522 so we can have your packets ready before you arrive.
• Socks: If you purchased socks, they will be included with your bag.
• Location: Ronald McDonald House is located at 300 E. California Avenue, El Paso, TX 79902, North of Downtown El Paso.

🏅 Age Group Medals

Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place MALE AND FEMALE finishers in the following age groups:

• 12 and Under
• 13-17
• 18-24
• 25-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60-69
• 70+

*Winners will be announced after the start of the 1 Mile Fun Walk.

🎽 Event Challenges

Win awesome prizes by participating in our challenges:

• Best Dressed Pet: Dress up your pet in their most unique costume and bring them along to walk or run during the event!
• Best Dressed Team: Get Creative! We can’t wait to see what your team comes up with. Winners will be announced before the start of the 1 Mile Walk.
• Largest Team: Last year, the "We Show Up!" team won the trophy for the Largest Team Challenge. Will they have to pass it down to a new winner for 2025?

• Early Bird Registration: Special Online Early Bird Registration through April 1, 2025.
• Regular Registration: Begins April 1 - May 18, 2025.
• Late Registration: May 19, 2025 - May 31, 2025.
• In-Person Registration: Available the day of the event starting at 6:30 am.
