🌄 Welcome to the El Paso Sunrise Series

Lace Up El Paso is proud to introduce the Inaugural El Paso Sunrise Series!

FIVE - 5k’s ran throughout the city of El Paso with the Season Finale taking place at El Paso’s locally owned specialty running shop, Up and Running!

Events are being ran with the goal to provide scholarships to El Paso Community College Cross Country athletes.

• Date: July 26, 2025 – Up and Running Season Finale!

• Custom Medal Add-ons: For each event you complete!
• Series Medal: Complete all FIVE events across El Paso for a special medal! (Virtual options available - mailing fees apply)

🎁 Giveaways

• Unique Giveaways: Each event will have its own unique giveaway!!!
• Limited Edition: Giveaways are limited and guaranteed only to the first 200 registered participants of each event.
• Shirt Giveaways: For events with shirt giveaways, shirt and/or size are not guaranteed for those who register after May 01, 2025.
• Registration Tip: The first 200 registered participants will receive a shirt, but late registrants may receive theirs AFTER the event.

🏆 Awards

Age Group Awards for the Top Three Finishers in each Age Group at each live event. Our age groups are the following: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over. There are no ‘overall’ awards at each event because this is a series. There will be Custom Awards to the OVERALL Fastest Males and Females (1st, 2nd, 3rd) of the Series! There will also be awards for the LARGEST Teams (1st, 2nd, 3rd) of the series. These will be awarded at the Up and Running Season Finale. There are no awards for virtual events.

👑 Strava Crowns

Each event will have Strava segments up for grabs! Find the segments, Lace Up and earn that crown!

🎉 Post-Race

Runner's Party at all events: popsicles, water, vendors, music.

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup location and time, TBD. Please review emails and social media for the most up to date information. There will be no race day packet pickup. If traveling or to make arrangements for pick up, please contact the race director.

⏰ Race Day Information

Race Day Registration will be available on RunSignUp.com, but ends sharply at 6:15 am, no exceptions.

Schedule:

• 5:30 am – 10 am: Event Schedule
• 5:30 – 6:15: Vendor setup. (Vendor setup closes at 6:15, no more vehicles allowed in vendor area.)
• 6:15: Race Day registration closes.
• 6:30 – 6:45: Announcements, Warm Up and National Anthem.
• 6:45: 5k Start!
• 8:30: Awards Ceremony!
• 9:30: Event ends. Clean up and Vendor area clearing.
• 10:00: Event area cleared.

♿ Course Guidelines

Yes, we welcome wheelchairs and strollers out on the course. No bicycles, roller blades/skates, skateboards, wagons, scooters, motorized or electric devices. We are absolutely pet friendly! (Pets must be on a leash both on and off the course. You must pick up after your pets).
