Purpose: The Miles 4 Moore race series is a charity run series that donates proceeds back to the local community to support community wellness.
Beneficiaries: Proceeds will fund gym memberships, coaching, and nutrition consultations for low-income families and diabetes patients.
Club Mission: Supports our club's overall mission to "connect people to communities while building a wellness culture."
πΊοΈ Marathon and Half Route
Scenic Route: Participants will enjoy a route from the Sandhills Community College (SCC) around Reservoir Park, Whitehall Trail, out to Nickβs Creek and back to SCC.
Loops: Marathon runners will complete this scenic loop twice.
Aid Stations: There will be four well-stocked aid stations providing water, Gatorade, and runners' snacks, resulting in eight stops along the marathon route.
Registration: Opens on December 1, 2024, and remains open through race day. The marathon has a 7-hour cut-off time with a 16:01 pace per mile.
ποΈ 5K Route
Scenic Route: Participants will enjoy a route from the Sandhills Community College (SCC) around Reservoir Park.
Perimeter Road: Runners will run the SCC perimeter road onto the Reservoir Park trail and back to the start.
π Event Parking
Location: Parking will be located at the Sandhills Community College.
Restrooms: Facilities will be available at the start/finish at SCC and at the turnaround point at Nickβs Creek parking lot.
Additional Facilities: One additional public restroom located along the route at Reservoir Park.
π Start and Finish Location
Start Point: Located at Sandhills Community College in front of the baseball fields behind Fountain Hall, past the Botanical Gardens.
Finish Line: Located at the same start point, in front of the baseball fields.
Family Friendly: The Gardens and Reservoir Park provide great locations for families and spectators to enjoy natural scenery while waiting for their runners.

Race Day Pickup: Race packets can be picked up from 6:30-7:00 am on race day, March 8, 2025.
Pre-Race Pickup: You can also pick up packets the evening prior, March 7, 2025, at the Sandhills Botanical Gardens from 6:00-8:00 pm.
