🎉 Race Background

• Juneteenth: A nationally recognized holiday commemorating the end of slavery on June 19, 1865.
• Historic Significance: Celebrated in Rochester, NY, the home of Frederick Douglass.
• Hosting Organization: Organized by Irondequoit E.R.A.S.E. (Eliminating Racism And Seeking Equity).
• Purpose: Proceeds support annual scholarships for college-bound Black and Brown students.

🎊 Post Race Celebration

• Location: At St. Josaphat's Church immediately following the race.
• Activities: Music, bottled water, light refreshments, and awards ceremony.
• Festival: Join us for the 6th Annual Juneteenth Festival starting at 12 PM at the Irondequoit Town Hall.
• Town Hall Address: 1280 Titus Ave, Rochester, NY 14617.

🗓️ Registration Information

• Fees: 5K Registration is $30 / $35.
• Online Registration: Open until the race start or sold out.
• Packet Pickup: Early pickup on June 20th from 6-8 PM at Salvatores Pizzeria, 149 E. Ridge Rd.
• Shirts: Guaranteed for those who register by June 16, 2025, at 5:30 PM: limited extra shirts available.

🏆 Awards & Age Groups

• Prize Structure: Awards for 1st place overall male and female finishers.
• Age Groups: 1st and 2nd place awards for each of the following categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.
• Finisher Certificates: All participants can download custom finisher certificates.
• Celebration: Join us for the post-race activities and enjoy the festivities!

• Free Parking: Available in the St. Josaphat's church parking lot.
