• Historical Importance: Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the U.S. on June 19, 1865.
• Local Relevance: Rochester is home to Frederick Douglass, adding significance to the event.
• Mission: Hosted by Irondequoit E.R.A.S.E. for scholarships for college-bound Black and Brown students.
• Community Celebration: Join us at the 6th annual Juneteenth festival at 12 noon after the race.

📝 Registration Details

• Cost: $30 / $35
• Online Registration: Open until the race starts or sold out.
• Packet Pickup: At St. Josaphats Church from 7:15 AM until the race starts.
• Shirt Guarantee: Register by June 13, 2025, for a guaranteed race shirt in your requested size.

🎊 Post Race Celebration

• Location: Immediately following the race at the church.
• Activities: Music, bottled water, light refreshments, and awards ceremony.
• Festival: 6th Annual Juneteenth Festival starts at 12 PM at Irondequoit Town Hall.

🏆 Age Groups & Awards

• Awards: Prizes for 1st place overall male and female finishers.
• Age Groups: Awards for 1st and 2nd place male and female in eight age groups.
• Finisher Certificates: All participants can download custom finisher certificates.
• Age Categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.
