2025 Gresham Lilac Run

🌸 Why Run THIS Race?

• Support Local Nonprofits: Your race fees go to support our Race Beneficiary - Loco Por La Aventura, a nonprofit based in Gresham focused on promoting educational equity and outdoor engagement for the Latino Community.

📋 Packet Pickup

• Date: Wednesday, April 23 and Thursday, April 24 from 4:00 - 6:30 pm.
• Location: Migration Brewing Wilkes: 18188 NE Wilkes Rd, Portland, OR 97230.

🏃‍♂️ Race Day Information

• Date: Saturday, April 26th - Start times outlined below.
• 8:00 am: Half Marathon
• 8:15 am: 10K
• 8:30 am: 5K

🌦️ Course 101

• Prepare for the Elements: The Half Marathon and 10k course take place on both paved trails/roads and dirt trails. Be prepared for mud and wet weather!
• Trail Etiquette: Stay to the right and pass on the left. Be courteous to all pedestrians and cyclists.
• Street Crossing: ALL courses cross public roads. Always be cautious and alert.
• Emergencies: Call 911 if needed. An EMT/Paramedic will be available at Main City Park.

🐶 Dogs on the Trail

• Leashed Pups: Friendly dogs on a leash are allowed. Start at the back of your race heat.
• Cleaning Up: Please bring your own pup-poop bags.

🥇 Bibs

• Visibility: Bibs must be visible at the finish line to receive a finisher medal.
• Post-Race Rewards: Athletes will have tags on their bibs for post-race beer, coffee, and pancake breakfast.

👶 FREE Little Lilac Run

• Registration: Email LilacRun@:GreshamOregon.gov to register kids 12 and under.
• Race Distance: A 2 loop 400 meter dash on the Springwater Corridor.
• Parent Participation: Parents are welcome to run with kids.

🏁 Course Information

• 5K: Athletes will receive blue bibs, following blue signs and course markers.
• 10K: Athletes will have green bibs, following green signs and course markers.
• Half Marathon: Athletes will have purple bibs, following purple signs and course markers.
• Finisher Medals: All athletes will receive a finisher medal and first place winners will receive a live Lilac.

🏅 Race Details

• Half Marathon: Starting at 8:00 am, join our scenic 13.1-mile route from Main City Park towards Boring.
• 10K: Starting at 8:15 am, athletes will follow a designated 10K course.
• 5K: Starting at 8:30 am, a 5K route on the Springwater Trail awaits.
• Weather Preparedness: Expect rain: plan accordingly with footwear.
