Rose City Track Club is proud to present the 8th annual Rose City Mile! Our mission is to provide a fun, competitive, and accessible opportunity for runners of all ages and abilities to test their fitness in the mile on Saturday, June 21, 2024.

🌈 Gender Recognition and Inclusion

Community: We believe that everyone has a place in the running community that is respectful, safe, and inclusive.

Awards: After race day we present awards in men's, women's, and non-binary categories.

Eligibility: Participants who select either "Non-Binary" or "Prefer Not to Say" during sign up will be eligible for the non-binary awards category.

🕒 Registration Details

Deadline: Online registration closes at 11:59 pm on Thursday, June 19th.

Price: Price increase to $33.00 (inc. $3.00 fee) on May 28.

Same Day Registration: Runners will have the option of registering for the Rose City Mile the day of the race for $38.50 (inc. $3.50 fee).

Timeframes: Same day registration for Rosebud kids' race closes at 9:00 am.

Master's Division: Same day registration for the Mile closes at 8:00 am.

Open Division: Same day registration for the Open division closes at 9:30 am.

Mixed 4x4: Same day registration for the Mixed 4x4 closes at 10:40 am.

📋 Heats

Check in closes 20 minutes before your assigned heat. Final heat assignments will be posted on Friday, June 20. Runners will be seeded based on the age, gender, and estimated finishing time provided upon registration. Heats in each category are progressively faster. HEAT SCHEDULE IS TENTATIVE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE:

8:30 am: Men's 40+ heat 1

8:45 am: Men's 40+ heat 2

8:55 am: Women's 40+ heat 1

9:10 am: Masters awards

9:30 am: Rose Bud 100 m dash (ages 2–4)

9:40 am: Rose Bud 400 m dash (ages 5–7)

9:50 am: Men's open heat 1

10:00 am: Men's open heat 2

10:10 am: Men's open heat 3

10:20 am: Men's open heat 4

10:30 am: Men's open heat 5

10:40 am: Women's open heat 1

10:50 am: Women's open heat 2

11:00 am: open awards

11:10 am: Mixed 4x400 m relay heat 1

11:20 am: Mixed 4x400 m relay heat 2 (if needed)

11:30 am: Team awards

11:40 am: youth section begins, rolling schedule
