Celebrating 49 years of running in Bidwell Park in Chico CA, this race has become a Chico tradition for so many! With 3 distances offered, we are pleased to host the Bidwell Classic again in 2025!
We are excited to offer a cash purse again for the top male and female in each event!

- Support Local Programs: A substantial portion of the race entry fees go to the local high school cross country running programs.

🗓️ Registration Information
- Online Deadline: Online registration closes at 8:00am on Friday, February 28th, 2025.
- In-Person Registration: In-person registration will be available during packet pickup.
- No Registration on Race Day: No in-person registration will be available on race day.
- Packet Pickup: Packet pickup will be available on Friday, February 28th, 10:00am-4:00pm.

Race Times:
- 5K: Starting time is 8:00am
- 10K and Half Marathon: Starting time is 8:10am
📅 Packet Pickup and Race Shirts
- Pickup Location: Fleet Feet Chico, 241 Main St., Chico CA
- Friday Pickup: February 28th, 10:00am - 4:00pm
- Race Day Pickup: Saturday, March 1st, 6:45am - 7:45am ONLY
- Shirt Guarantee: Every registered runner will receive a 2025 race shirt if registered before February 7th.
🗺️ Course Information
- Course Details: The 5K and 10K are flat, paved, and free of traffic. The half marathon includes a 1/4 mile on each loop that is a single-track trail.
- Start/Finish Location: All events start and finish at One Mile Recreation Area in Lower Bidwell Park.

🏅 Awards for Top Finishers
- Categories: We will be offering a CASH PRIZE for top male and female for each race! (5K, 10K, and Half)
- Award Ceremony: 8:45am for the 5K, 9:15am for the 10K, and 10:00am for the Half Marathon races.
- Age Group Awards: Awards will also be offered to the top three in each age group category for each gender in each race.
🚽 Restrooms and Aid Stations
- Aid Stations: There will be 6 aid stations for the half, 3 for the 10K, and 2 for the 5K.
- Restroom Locations: Bathrooms will be located at key points throughout the course.
🌟 Rules
- No Dogs: Please no dogs on the course during the race.
- Race Number: Wear your race number so it is visible on the participant's front.
- Run with Pride: Run your race with pride!
- Time Matters: You must cross the timing mat for your chip to be read.
