🏃‍♂️ BK5K Race Announcement

The BK5K race committee is excited to announce the 2nd annual Knoxville BK5K will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024! We are currently monitoring COVID-19 guidelines to finalize our race format. Registration will open September 1, 2024.

📍 Event Details

• Date: November 23, 2024
• Location: Victor Ashe Park, 4901 Bradshaw Rd, Knoxville, TN 37912
• Race Day Registration: 7-8:30 AM
• 5K Start Time: 9 AM

📝 Registration Information

• Payment: Please plan to pay via Cash or Check for same day registration.
• T-shirts: Note: if you are registering after November 1, 2024, t-shirts are only available until we run out.
• Packet Pickup: Available at Victor Ashe Park on Friday, November 22nd from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and Saturday, November 23rd from 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM.
• Race Day Registration: Also allowed during the packet pickup times (Cash or Check).

🏆 Race Day Schedule

• 7-8:30 AM: Race Day Sign Up (Cash & Check only) & Packet Pickup
• 9:00 AM: 5K Race Start
• 9:30 AM: Post Race grab & go post-race breakfast
• 10:30 AM: Age group and overall awards

🥇 Awards & Age Groups

Trophies will be awarded for the top three overall finishers. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group.

• Categories: Men and Women 12 and younger: 13 - 14: 15 - 16: 17 - 18: 19 - 29: 30 - 34: 35 - 39: 40 - 44: 45 - 49: 50 - 54: 55 - 59: 60 - 64: 65 - 69: 70-74: 75-79: 80 and older.

👶 Kids Participation

We invite your children to join our 5K event. We look forward to having our 1K Kids Races again in 2024.

💵 Entry Fees

• 5K Adults (18 and older): $17 pre-registration* / $20 after November 1, 2024
• 5K Youth (13-17): $7 pre-registration* / $10 after November 1, 2024
• Kids 5K (12 and younger): Free
