🎖️ The Memorial 5K Foundation Event
Join the Memorial 5K Foundation to honor our nation and remember the service and sacrifice of those who have died in the line of duty. Participate in the 4th Annual Memorial 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, May 25, 2025.
🏅 Ceremony and Race Details
- Ceremony: Our area veterans and active-duty service members will conduct a brief ceremony of remembrance.
- Race Type: A unique 5K race will follow the ceremony.
- Course Certification: The racecourse has been certified by U.S. Track and Field.
- Timing: It will be professionally chip timed.
👕 Participant Perks
- Race Shirt: Participants will receive a race tech shirt.
- Finishers Medal: A beautiful finishers medal will be awarded as part of registration.
- Proceeds: Funds will benefit the Memorial 5K Foundation.
- Support: Proceeds support the Veterans of Lake Barrington Shores and the Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation.
🕗 Event Timing and Location
- Start Time: 8:00 AM. A Ceremony of Remembrance will precede the Memorial 5K Race Start.
- Race Location: Starting Line at Market Place Shopping Center, Corner of Kelsey Road and Route 59 in Lake Barrington, 60010.
