- Event: Join the Memorial 5K Foundation to honor our nation and remember the service and sacrifice of those who have died in the line of duty.
- Date: Participate in the 4th Annual Memorial 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, May 25, 2025.
- Location: Starting Line at Market Place Shopping Center, Corner of Kelsey Road and Route 59 in Lake Barrington, 60010.
- Parking: Available at ReMax Properties Northwest, 5041 Shoreline Road, Lake Barrington, IL 60010.
🙏 Ceremony of Remembrance
- Led by: Our area veterans and active-duty service members will conduct a brief ceremony of remembrance.
- Timing: A Ceremony of Remembrance will proceed the Memorial 5K Race Start.
- Start Time: 8:00 AM.
- Significance: This event honors those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
🏅 Race Details
- Course: The racecourse, through the Lake Barrington Shores community, has been certified by U.S. Track and Field.
- Timing: The race will be professionally chip timed.
- Swag: Participants will receive a race tech shirt and beautiful finishers medal as part of their registration.
- Beneficiaries: Proceeds from your race registration will benefit the Memorial 5K Foundation, which supports the work of the Veterans of Lake Barrington Shores and the Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation.
