Join NS PROMOS/Run Myrtle Beach for the 2nd ANNUAL RUN FOR LIFE @CCU! We've also added in a Virtual option for those unable to join us in person. The race will be exclusively on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC! We are excited to partner with CoastalLIFE and look forward to a great event for everyone!
📚 About CoastalLIFE Program
CoastalLIFE is an individualized, residential, non-degree program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program provides supports in the following areas:
- Academic Instruction: Tailored educational support
- Career Education: Training and development opportunities
- Independent Living: Skills for autonomy
- Community Engagement: Social involvement and activities
🏅 Race Information
- Start Time: 8:00am 5K Start (chip timed)
- 1 Mile Start: 8:10am (self-timed)
- Kidz Dash: 9:10am Run with Chauncey Kids' 50 yard dash (self-timed)
- Course Guidelines: No water stop on course
- Participants: Runners and walkers are all WELCOME!
- Restrictions: Animals and unauthorized wheeled devices are not permitted
- Timing: Gun timing used for overall awards, chip timing for age group awards
- Post-race: Snacks and water available
🎁 Race Swag
- Shirt: Participant shirt for all races
- Medal: Custom designed Made in the USA medal for all races
- Race Bib: Provided for all races
- Virtual Race: Swag will be mailed within 2 weeks post race
📝 Registration
- Method: Registration is only available online
- Deadline: Registration closes Sunday, March 30 at 7:00am
📦 Packet Pickup Information
- Date: Saturday, March 29 from Time and Location TBD
- Sunday Pickup: 7:00-7:45am at Brooks Stadium near the finish line

🏆 Awards/Recognition (5K only)
- Overall Awards: Male and Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
- Masters Awards: Male and Female 1st place
- Age Groups: Male and Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd place across various age brackets
- Note: No awards for 1 Mile or Kids' Dash
