🌪️ Race Overview
Join Ed Piotrowski, Coastal Carolina University, Teal Nation, and Apex Promoz to kick off hurricane season in the Carolinas with a one of a kind 5K and 1 Mile race experience. This race is going to be the most exciting and entertaining running event in Horry County in 2025, no other event will be live streamed by WPDE and no where else will all participants get to finish their run on the 50 yard line of Brooks Stadium on the beautiful Teal field. This is going to be the event of the summer and we want all of you to join us!

- 5K: 8:00am
- 1 Mile: 8:10am
🏆 Awards
Race awards will be given in the following categories for the 5K.
- Overall: Male & Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd (Based on gun time)
- Age Division Structure: (Age group awards are based on chip time)
- Age Groups: 0 to 10, 11 to 15, 16 to 20, 21 to 25, 26 to 30, 31 to 35, 36 to 40, 41 to 45, 46 to 50, 51 to 55, 56 to 60, 61 to 65, 66 to 70, 71 to 75, 75+
🅿️ Parking
Parking will be available at all Coastal Carolina University parking lots. A map will be posted closer to the race date with preferred parking lots and shuttle information if they are needed.
