Apex Trail Run, Presented by HTC

🏃‍♂️ Apex Trail Run Overview

We are thrilled to announce the 3rd annual Spring Trail Run! This year, we’re bringing it back to where it all began—The Hulk! (Horry County Bike & Run Park). The Apex Trail Run will feature a 5K (run or walk) and a 10 miler. To accommodate all participants, the 5K will offer both a competitive heat and a non-competitive heat, giving the faster runners a chance to lead the pack. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in both the male and female categories. All runners will receive a medal and a seat cover towel!

The trail itself is a dynamic mix of rolling hills, tight switchbacks, and natural obstacles, offering a thrilling challenge for runners of all skill levels.

⏰ Race Start Times

• 10 miler: 8:00am
• Competitive 5K: 8:05am
• Non-Competitive 5K: 8:10am

🏆 Awards

Awards will be given in the following categories for the 5k. Awards will be based on the combination of the competitive and non-competitive groups for the 5K. (Must be present to receive award, no mailing of awards)

The 10 miler will have awards for top three male and female only.

• Overall: Male and Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd (5k and 10K)
• Age Division Structure: Awards are based on net chip time
• Age Groups: 0 to 9 | 10 to 19 | 20 to 29 | 30 to 39 | 40 to 49 | 50 to 59 | 60 to 69 | 70 Plus

Parking will be along the Frontage road near The Hulk, please carpool if you can!

• Friday, April 25th: at Black Dog Running Company from 4:00pm-6:00pm

• Saturday, April 26th: at The Hulk (Horry County Bike & Run Park) 6:45am-7:45am
