16th Annual Independence Day 5K Run/Walk

🎉 Race Overview

Join us to celebrate America! Runners and Walkers are all welcome!! Participants are encouraged to dress in red, white, and blue! Get the entire family involved and register for the 5K, 1 Mile, or our free Stars and Stripes Kids' Dash (50 yards)! Participants are encouraged to dress in costume and celebrate our Independence!

• Location: Grand Park Lake Courtyard on Farrow Parkway, Myrtle Beach, SC
• Time: 7:00am for 5K, 7:30am for 1 Mile Fun Run, 8:00am for Kids' Dash

• Course: USATF Certified Course
• Eligibility: Runners and walkers are all WELCOME!
• Restrictions: No water stop on course
• Disqualifications: Animals and wheeled devices not permitted

🎁 Race Swag

• Participants: 5K and 1 Mile-Participant Shirt (while supplies last)
• Medals: 5K, 1 Mile-Participant Medal
• Bibs: 5K, 1 Mile Fun Run, and Kids' Dash-Race Bib
• Kids' Dash: Option to purchase participant shirt, Finisher gift

📝 Registration

• Method: Registration is only available online
• Deadline: Closes Friday, July 4 at 6:00am
• Kids' Dash: Free but must register online

📦 Packet Pickup

• Date: Thursday, July 3 from 4:00-6:00pm
• Location: Native Sons (1519 Executive Ave., MB)
• Date: Friday, July 4 from 6:00-6:45am
• Location: Grand Park Lake courtyard on Farrow Parkway

🚗 Parking

• Free Parking: In Farrow Parking Garage next to Nacho Hippo
• Street Parking: Free parking along side streets in Market Common

• Facilities: Portos in the courtyard at Grand Park Lake

• Overall: Male and Female 1,2,3 place
• Masters: Male and Female 1 place
• Age Groups: Male and Female 1,2,3 place for various age categories
• Note: No awards for 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk or Stars and Stripes Dash
