Super Bowl 5k

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Kick off your Super Bowl Sunday with a 5k run/walk thru beautiful Downtown Lansing in front of our State Capitol! Run a fast accurate race, stay healthy and fit and then go and enjoy your Super Bowl Party!

📍 Location

• Start and Finish: The start and finish of the race is in front of the Michigan State Capitol Building.

⏰ Start Time

• When: 10 AM

💵 Entry Fee

• Standard Fee: $30 until January 30th Guaranteed Shirt.
• Late Fee: $35 From January 31st to February 8th, T-shirts available while supplies last.
• Youth Pricing: Ages 19 and under $20 until January 30th, includes a t-shirt.
• Youth Late Fee: $25 from January 31st to February 8th, T-shirts available while supplies last.

📦 Packet Pickup

• When: Saturday February 8th from Noon to 5 pm.
• Where: Central United Methodist Church 215 N Capitol Ave Lansing.
• Tip: It is a great idea to come to Downtown Lansing on Saturday and pick up your bib # and shirt so on Sunday morning you can stay in your warm car.
• Parking: There is ample free parking in Downtown Lansing on Saturday.

🏅 Race Day Packet Pickup

• Time: 8:30 am to 9:45 am.
• Location: Central United Methodist Church 215 N Capitol Ave Lansing.

Your accurate chip time and current overall and age group place will be texted to your phone and live on this site.

🏆 Age Group Awards

Medal to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in age groups: 12 & under, 13-14, 15-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

🥇 Overall Awards

• Awards: Medal and $25 Playmakers gift certificate to Male and Female Overall and Master (Over 40) winner.
• Availability: Awards will be available race day starting at 10:30 am.

🏁 Course Details

• Course: This is a 2 loop course. The start and finish is on Capitol Ave in front of the State Capitol.
• Distance: Accurate and fast 3.1 mile course on the streets of Downtown Lansing.
• Results: Your results will include your time for the first loop.

❄️ Snow Policy

If there is snow the morning of the race, the course will be plowed and salted!

🅿️ Parking

Parking is free on all downtown streets on the weekends. Park along Michigan Ave and Washington St., or the side streets along Washington. The 2 lots in front of the Lugnut Baseball Stadium on Michigan Ave. and the lot at the Lansing Center on the corner of Michigan Ave. and Cedar St. are free on the weekends.

🤝 Proceeds

Proceeds from the race go to support High School and Middle School Cross Country and Track programs, and Youth Running Clubs through the Michigan Running Foundation grant program.
