🏫 About the Event
This annual event is hosted by Newcomb Academy PTSA, which serves Newcomb Academy (Grades K–8), a public school in the Long Beach Unified School District. A school fundraiser and a way to promote health and fitness to the entire area. This family-friendly event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Stroller and wheelchair friendly.
- Medals: Medals will be given to all finishers.
- Awards: Awards for the top three 5K finishers in each age group.
- Shirt and Goody Bag: FREE shirt and goody bag guaranteed if registered by January 14, 2024: after that date your shirt size may not be available.
🏞 The Course
The Course: Flat, fast, and scenic. It takes place at El Dorado Park East in Long Beach, near the train and playground area. If you’re looking to set a personal record or if you just want to take it easy and take in the scenery, this is the perfect course.
