🎉 The 19th Annual 5K Reindeer Run/Walk

It's time for The Center for Women's 19th Annual 5k Run/Walk on December 7th, 2024 at 9:00 AM.

🏞️ Event Details

• Location: Grace Brevard Church, 55 E. Jordan St, Brevard, NC 28712.
• Route: A scenic route with slight inclines and descents, perfect for running or walking.
• Refreshments: Pre and post race snacks, homemade baked goods, hot drinks, and water will be provided.
• Awards: An awards ceremony will take place after the race for overall male and female finishers and top age group finishers.

🎄 Post-Race Festivities

• After the race: Stay in Brevard for a Christmas parade and Light Up the Night event.
• Activities: Enjoy live music, performances, ice skating, hayrides, and festive shopping.
• Family Fun: The evening will feature free family fun activities and a tree-lighting ceremony.

🏅 Awards & Recognition

• Awards for: Overall male and female finishers and the top three in age groups from 11-14 to 70 & over.
• Participation: Medals for all participants aged 10 & under.

🚗 Transportation & Logistics

• Parking available: At Grace Brevard Church, The Center for Women, and First Baptist Church.
• Dress: Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
• Registration: On-site registration opens at 7:30 AM and ends at 8:30 AM.
• National Anthem: Join us at 8:45 AM for music and singing along with Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.

✨ Community Impact

This event is hosted by The Center for Women. Our goal is to bring awareness to the community and to raise money to continue providing free services including pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, counseling, baby supplies, and more. All proceeds from this event benefit families in Transylvania County.
