🏃♂️ Event Overview
We welcome you and your family to participate in the 2nd Annual Scranton Turkey Trot! This 5k run and 1 Mile Fun Walk serves to bring the community together to exercise, have fun and give thanks on one of the best days of the year. What better way to start your Thanksgiving than family, football, and a 5k.
Whether this is your first 5K or you are a seasoned runner, we welcome you and encourage you to partake.
🕘 Race Details
- Start Time: 9:00 AM
- Course: The 5K scenic course is mostly flat with a few rolling hills. There are no street crossings.
- Refreshments: Snacks and refreshments will be provided after the race including Dunkin Donuts Coffee and Apple Cider.
- Proceeds: Will be presented to the Nay Aug Park Association for revitalization efforts in the name of the James "Red" McAndrew Foundation.
👦 Kids Participation
KIDS 12 and Under are FREE!
We hope to see a few turkeys out there!
📍 Packet Pickup
- Pre-Race Pickup: 12 to 5 PM on Wednesday, November 27th at the Scranton Running Company, 3 West Olive St., Scranton, PA 18508
- Day of Registration: 7:30 - 8:45 AM at Nay Aug Park.
