• Location: Lackawanna River Heritage Trail, Olive Street, Scranton, PA
• Virtual Option: Run any time on Friday or Saturday, and submit your results to Scranton Running Company

🎉 About the Race

Join us for the 5th Annual Stride for Pride 5K Run in partnership with Action Together NEPA. Can’t make it on race day? We will also be hosting a Virtual 5K. The virtual race will be scored, and the results will be displayed by Monday, June 12th.

🌈 About Queer NEPA

• Mission: An LGBTQIA+ organization dedicated to culture, community, and justice.
• History: Blossomed out of the 2018 Pride Series, organized by activist Emma Maloney.
• Founding: Officially declared on Pulse Remembrance Day, June 12th, 2018.
• Advocacy: Dedicated to nonviolent advocacy and advancing LGBTQ+ rights in NEPA.

Queer NEPA’s platform is rooted in equality and community building. Understanding the past helps us navigate present-day, as well as create a better tomorrow. Through volunteerism, advocacy, and coalition building, it’s our hope to see a society free of systems of hate, violence, and oppression.
