Honoring the Fallen 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join the Clermont Police Department as they host their Fourth Annual Clermont Honoring the Fallen 5K in the heart of beautiful Downtown Clermont. This race, formerly known as the Conrad Buckley Legacy Scholarship 5k, will be honoring the nearly 116 deaths of law enforcement officers in the line of duty in 2024. All race proceeds and donations will go to Concerns of Police Survivors, and Code 4 Initiative which provides assistance to officers and their families in a time of need.

🏁 Course Information

The course starts and finishes at Suncreek Brewery, our valued sponsor! Participants will then take the trail to an out and back for 1.5 miles. An aid station will be set up mid-course to allow participants two chances at hydrating.

📋 Packet Pickup

• Location: Dash Sports
• Date: February 21st
• Time: 2:00-6:00 p.m.
• Race Day: Suncreek Brewery from 4:00-5:00 p.m.

⏰ Schedule

• 5:00 PM: Pre-race ceremony
• 5:30 PM: Race start time
• 6:30 PM: Awards ceremony for top finishers

🎁 Participant Perks

• Entry Includes: Chip timed bib, Custom Finisher's Medal, Finish line at Suncreek Brewery with complimentary draft for all 21 and over, Post Race snacks.
• Referral Rewards: Get $20 refunded to you as a thank you when you get 5 friends to sign up using the referral link you receive with your registration confirmation email.
• Team/Family Discount: Teams of 4 or more will receive $5 off each participant. The first 3 registrants will pay full price, and once the team minimum of 4 members is reached, they will receive an automatic $5 refund.

🏆 Awards

Awards will be announced around 6:30 PM. Categories include top Male and Female overall, Male and Female Masters, and top 3 Male and Female in 5-year age groups, starting with 9 and under up to 75 and over. You may log in to our results page to view the results post-race as participants finish. We will encourage all our top finishers to stay for awards and cheer each other on.

👥 Team Awards

There will be an award for the fastest team (Average of top 3 times) and most well represented team (team with the most participants). An award for the fastest LEO team and most well represented LEO team will also be given.

🚫 Important Notes

This event does not allow dogs on the course, near the start or finish line. If you have a service dog please contact us ahead of time. If you are running with a stroller please start towards the back of the pack.
