Run the Runway at Chicago Executive Airport

✈️ Join Us for the 10th Annual Race!

Race Date: Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 8:00 AM

Join us for a 5K Run, 1 Mile Walk and Kids Dash on the main runway and taxiways at Chicago Executive Airport in Wheeling, Illinois. The 5K course is USATF Certified and chip timed. Hang out after your event for podium awards, music, food, giveaways and kids activities. Plus keep an eye out for Elsa and Spiderman guest appearances through the morning!

🏃‍♂️ Event Details

• Strollers and Wagons: Strollers and wagons are welcome.
• Pets: No pets are allowed.

🎁 Giveaways

• Participation Awards: Participation medals and Top Finisher pins will be awarded.
• Guaranteed Shirt: Participants who register prior to May 1, 2025 are guaranteed a shirt.
  • Shirt Sizing for Adults: 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk registration shirts will be unisex adult sizing.
  • Shirt Sizing for Kids: Kids Dash shirts will be youth sizing.

No additional shirts will be ordered after May 1st. Supplies are limited, register today to guarantee your shirt selection.

🌧️ Weather Policy

In case of inclement weather, a cancelation call will be made by 8:30 AM on event day. This is a fundraising event with proceeds benefiting local aviation scholarships. As a result, no refunds will be issued and the event will not be rescheduled.
