Lodge Con Mini Stomp - A Mini Micro Marathon Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Kick off Lodge Con with this crazy mayhem! A 0.52 mile run on the Will County Fairgrounds!

📏 Unique Distance

• Reason for 0.52 miles: Well, 0.26 is 1/100th of the marathon distance and is sometimes known as a "Micro Marathon", but we're gonna give you your moneys worth by going the extra mile. Well, extra quarter mile.
• Route: It's 0.26 OUT, and then you have to get back to the finish line the way you came.

🕖 Event Schedule

• Date: Saturday, 2024-11-02
• Time: Come run or walk with us at 7:00 AM to collect your race number.
• Start Time: We'll line up and start around 7:15 AM!

🎭 Costume Encouragement

We very much encourage you to come run in any kind of crazy elaborate costume pieces or other gimmicks that amuse you (provided they are SAFE following all the rules of costuming at the convention.)

🎟️ Participation Details

• Cost: This event is free.
• Inclusions: Race numbers, some participation tokens at the finish (details pending), and maybe a prize or two.
• Eligibility: This event is open to attendees of Lodge Con only, but does not require any badge or registration to participate.

📝 Registration Information

You can register here: Lodge Con Mini Stomp Registration. This helps us know who is participating in case of any mishaps. Paper signups will be available at the last minute until we run out of supplies.

💧 Post-Event Treats

When it is all done, you will at least be welcome to a bottle of water. We may or may not have other goodies (details are being explored, but as this is the first time we try this here, we're figuring it out as we go!)
