I Got Your Six Walk/Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Cause: Lace up your shoes for this annual event and get ready to be part of a great cause while helping bring awareness to the risks police officers face every day.
• Memory: I Got Your Six Run/Walk was organized in memory of Bradley Police Department’s Sgt. Marlene Rittmanic and in honor of Officer Tyler Bailey.
• Participation: This event has an option for everyone, no matter your fitness level.
• Details: We offer a 10K run, 5K run, 2-mile walk, as well as a virtual option, if you cannot make it on-site the day of the event.

🐶 Special Features

• Dog Registration: Also, as tribute to Marlene’s love of dogs, participants can register their dog to run/walk with them.
• Participant Perks: Participants will be provided with an I Got Your Six race shirt, race medal, and registered dogs will receive a custom race handkerchief to wear during the race.
• Scholarship Fund: All proceeds from this event will be used to fund two Kankakee Community College Law Enforcement Scholarships in each officer’s name.

• Path: Perry Farm Park offers a smooth paved path that winds through natural prairie, woods and riverfront access.
