- Chip-timed: This race starts in Downtown Joliet and runs through the Joliet Iron Works Historic Site.
- Participation: Walkers and runners are welcome.
- Costumes: Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costume.
- Race Fee Extras: A hat and gloves are included in the race fee, but may not be guaranteed if registering after September 24th.
📅 Registration Information
- Morning Registration: Registration will remain open the morning of the race beginning at 7 a.m.
- Packet Pickup: Available for participants who registered by October 1st.
- Location: Packets can be picked up at Internode Greenery & Home located at 81 N. Chicago Street on Friday from 11 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
- Parking: Due to downtown construction, park at the Ottawa Street Deck located at 110 N. Ottawa and bring your ticket for validation.
🏆 Awards
- Categorized Awards: Awards will be presented to the male and female with the best overall time and by age group (0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 +).
- Overall Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place overall Female and Male will receive special awards.
- Presence Required: Must be present to receive award. Awards will not be mailed.

🎓 Community Impact
- Donation: A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Joliet Central High School's chapter of the National Honor Society.
- NHS Recognition: Recognizes students who excel in leadership, scholarship, service, and character.
- Eligibility: All NHS students have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
- Involvement: Selected members participate in a variety of service projects and leadership events.
