Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Space Race 3K Walk/Run

🚀 Race Overview

• Event: The Space Race 3K is a walk/run throughout Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex that benefits United Way of Brevard.
• Route: The walk/run journeys participants through the historic Rocket Garden featuring nine authentic rockets, the booster stack that graces the entryway to Space Shuttle Atlantis®, and to Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®.
• Awards: Winners in each category will receive their award from a veteran NASA astronaut.
• After Party: After the race, enjoy a beer at the after-race party!

💰 3K Entry Fees

• Early Registration: (until December 31, 2024) Adult - $35 | Child (12 & under) - $20
• Registration: (January 1 - January 16) Adults - $40 | Child (12 & under) - $25
• Race Day Registration: (If Available) Adults - $45 | Child (12 & under) - $30
• Guest Entry Fee: Online Registration - Suggested donation of $5 to the United Way

• Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Running Zone: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Packet Pick Up
• Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM Packet Pickup
• Friday, January 17, 2025 at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex: 5:30 PM Packet Pick up & Guest Spectator Check-in Opens
• Race Start: 7:00 PM 3K START!

• Race Shirt: Complimentary race shirt (Guaranteed shirt if registered by December 17, 2024)
• Race Medal: For the first 1500 registrants
• Historic Route: The walk/run guides participants through the historic Rocket Garden featuring nine authentic rockets.
• After Party: Enjoy a beer at the after-race party: this family-friendly event is open to guests of runners with a suggested donation of $5.

👕 Shirts

Only pre-registered participants that complete the registration by December 17, 2024 are guaranteed a complimentary race shirt.

🅿️ Parking

Complimentary parking is available in parking lots 4 and 5 beginning at 5:00 PM.

Proceeds will benefit the United Way of Brevard. More than 82,000 people live in poverty in Brevard, experiencing challenges with hunger, homelessness, domestic violence and health. United Way knows that prevention is key! They leverage resources and partnerships to improve the efficiency and capacity of services in our region. These services create measurable impact in our communities.
