- 10K: 7:00 AM Start
- 2 Mile: 8:30 AM Start
- Event: Join us for the 37th running of this iconic Space Coast Runners road race! You are going to love it! Race #6 in the SCR Runner of the Year Series.
- Beneficiary: Race Benefits the Christian Lake Memorial Scholarship Fund.
🎉 Event Highlights
- Challenge: This year we'll have 400 spots for the SLAY THE BEAST CHALLENGE!
- Course: Challenging 10K certified road race course which includes an out & back over the Eau Gallie Causeway and Indian River.
- 2 Mile Option: Not up for the full 6.2 miles? Join us for the Tail of the Lizard 2 Mile.
- Slay the Beast Challenge: Sign up & finish both races and you get 3 medals! Space is limited to 400. Top 3 get amazing Dragon swords. You must be able to start the 2 Mile race no later than 8:35 AM.

Packet pickup at Running Zone—3696 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne
- Friday: February 14 from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Saturday: February 15 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
🏁 Race Day
- 6:00 AM: Packet Pick Up & Race Day registration
- 7:00 AM: Eye of the Dragon 10K starts
- 8:30 AM: Tail of the Lizard 2 Mile starts
- 9:30 AM: Tentative Awards Ceremony for all races

- Overall Awards: Top 3 Overall Male & Female in 10K and 2 Mile.
- Masters Awards: Top Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), and Senior Grand Masters (60+) Male & Female – 10K & 2 Mile.
- Age Groups: Top 3 in each Age Group—10K & 2 Mile.
- Team Competition: Top Overall 10K Team & 2 Mile Co-ed Team Competition.
