🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event Name: Friends of the Poor Walk
• Date: September 27, 2025
• Location: 5301 North Atlantic Avenue, Cocoa Beach, FL
• Purpose: To raise awareness and funds supporting the local Conference of Our Saviour's in Cocoa Beach.

👟 Run/Walk Details

• Distance: 5K out and back run or walk
• Course: Starting from the Church parking lot onto Banana River Drive and nearby residential neighborhood
• Registration Fee: $28.00 (plus fees)
• Kids Registration: Ages Pre-K through 17 for $15.00 (plus fees)

🎉 Post-Race Activities

• Free Kids Dash: After the 5K is completed
• Refreshments: Available for participants after the race
• Virtual Option: Not in town for the event? You can participate virtually by registering online.
• Packet Pick-Up: Available both on race day and the day before the race.

📅 Event Schedule

• 6:45am: Same Day registration and Packet Pick Up
• 7:30am: Registration Closes
• 8:00am: Race Start

• Timing: All participants are chip timed

🏆 Awards

• Overall Male: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place
• Overall Female: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place
• Overall Male Masters: 1st Place
• Overall Female Masters: 1st Place

👦👧 Youth Awards

• Top 3 Males in Categories: Ages 5-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-17
• Top 3 Females in Categories: Ages 5-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-17

🅿️ Parking

• Location: Parking will be located at Our Saviour Catholic Church.

🐶 Dogs

• Policy: Dogs are welcomed, but they must be on a leash.
