Monte Vista Historical Association 5K Fun Run/Walk & Fall Fest

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us for the Monte Vista Historical Association 5k Fun Run/Walk! People of all ages are invited to run or walk through one of Texas' largest Historic District. Marvel at the "Gilded Aged" homes built from 1890-1930 and enjoy passing a variety of architectural styles. The event will start & end at Landa Library.

🎉 Fall Fest Activities

After the fun run/walk is over, stick around the grounds of Landa for a free Fall Fest that includes:

• Kids Activities: Fun games and activities for children.
• Holiday Market: Shop for unique gifts and treats.
• Food Trucks: Enjoy a variety of delicious food options.
• Live Music: Relax and enjoy performances from 10am - 4pm.

💰 Registration Details

Early-bird registration for the race is $25 and includes a race T-shirt & bib number. T-shirts are only guaranteed for those that register before Nov 1st and will be given out based on availability on race day. Day-of registration is $35 and includes a bib number.

🏆 Awards

Awards will be given to:

• 1st Female Overall: Recognition for the top female finisher.
• 1st Male Overall: Recognition for the top male finisher.
• 1st Female Youth: Ages 18 and under.
• 1st Male Youth: Ages 18 and under.
• 1st Adult Female: Ages 19-59.
• 1st Adult Male: Ages 19-59.
• 1st Senior Female: Age 60+.
• 1st Senior Male: Age 60+.
• 1st Dog: To cross the finish line.

🌟 Community Impact

All the proceeds benefit the Monte Vista Historical Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, that focuses on important issues that impact our neighborhoods, our families, and our local businesses. Volunteers stay abreast of city ordinances, current laws, and ongoing development affecting residents of Monte Vista and work together to preserve, maintain and improve our neighborhood.
