Join us for a festive race event in the new Civic Park at Hemisfair as you literally run thru history. Experience scenic San Antonio as you've never seen it before in this fiercely independent run that honors our Alamo heroes.
Enjoy THE best swag around along with award winning Finisher Medals!! Your day will start with a LIVE CANNON BLAST near the cradle of Texas liberty, The Alamo. You'll pulsate past some of San Antonio’s most iconic cultural sites including the World Heritage Missions. All topped off by an amazing post race party with live music, delicious local race cuisine and ice chilled chocolate milk & of course cold beer with actual calories including Alamo Beer, Blue Star Brewing Co. and other local favorites.
Event take a bite out of our Sweetest Run in Town, The ALAMO DONUT DASH 5k/10k, on Saturday, March 1st!
In need of an extra challenge medal, conquer our ALAMO DUEL by running BOTH days and receive a coveted 3rd medal!!!

- START TIME: Sunrise - 6:56 AM
- 6:30-6:40 AM: Gather on Civic Park Main Lawn
- 6:56 AM: BOOM!!! Historic live CANNON BLAST & MULTIPLE Musket Volley START!
🅿️ Race Day Parking
Federal Lot on Cesar Chavez just West of IH-37 before S. Alamo St. All street metered parking on streets north of The Alamo are FREE on Sundays. The City has parking garages at 240 E. Houston & at 400 N. Saint Mary’s that are only a few blocks from The Alamo with very reasonable rates as seen here: http://www.sanantonio.gov/ccdo/parking/parkingmap.aspx
🏞️ The Course
- Epic Experience: Fun, flat, fast & certified course.
- Course Time Limits: 4 HOUR TIME LIMIT for THE ALAMO 13.1 HALF, 7 hours for The ALAMO MARATHON.
- Aid Stations: Plenty of Aid Stations every 1 - 1.5 miles stocked with water & gatorade.
🎟️ Packet Pickup & Expo
- Date: Saturday, March 1st TBD - 12-5PM - San Antonio, TX.
- Waiver: If picking up for a friend, ensure they SIGN THIS WAIVER.
